Sliotar Experiment

In 1948, the GAA considered modifying the make up of the Sliotar. It was tested in a League match between Cork and Laois. Seamus O'Ceallachain(Barrs) was Captain of the Cork team and after the match he held on to the experimental sliotar.
Recently, his family kindly presented this Sliotar to our Club and we will arrange to put it on display, in the near future.
