U 21 'A' County Final Saturday 6th August

The County u 21 'A' football final will take place in Pairc Ui Rinn on Saturday next August 6th with an 8.15 start. Our opposition will be Ilen Rovers. On our way to the final we defeated St Michaels (3-16 to 0-9), Douglas (1-13 to 2-5) and in the City Final we had a victory over Nemo Rangers (1-12 to 2-5). In the county quarter final we had a hard earned win against reigning champions Valley Rovers (1-10 to 0-6) and in the semi final we defeated Aghada (1-13 to 0-7)
Our last win in the County under 21 'A' championship was in 2008 when we defeated Newmarket.
We have annexed this trophy on 6 occasions ; 1973, 1977,1978, 1985, 1986, 2008 and in addition we were beaten finalists in 1982 (Macroom),1983 (Castlehaven),1984 (O'Donovan Rossa), and 2009 (Ballincollig)
The current team mentors are Jim O'Donoghue, Kevin Murray, Trevor Olden, Ted Power ,Eric Barrett. Cian Finn, and Mick Dillon
